What are the charges applicable on Kotak QR?
- No rental or installations charges are applicable on Kotak QR.
- There is no MDR when a customer pays using UPI*
*If a customer pays through Credit Card on UPI, the Merchant Discount Rate (MDR) will be levied, as agreed by you at the time of filling up the merchant acquiring account opening form.
How will I be notified of successful payments?
Once a customer completes a UPI transaction on your Kotak QR, you will receive a payment confirmation through the following methods:
- An SMS on your registered mobile number
- An alert on your Soundbox
- An app notification or voice alert on kotak.biz
- You can also view transaction details in the 'Check Transactions’ tab on the kotak.biz home screen.
When will payments received via Kotak QR be settled?
- Payments made through the Kotak QR are automatically transferred to your registered Kotak Current Account on a T+1 basis.
- For faster settlement, you can opt for Same Day Settlements under the ‘Premium Services’ section on the kotak.biz home screen, allowing you to receive payments within a few hours*.

What is the Same Day Settlement?
Same Day Settlement allows you to get payments settled the same day, within a few hours
You can choose either or both the cycles -
- Cycle 1 : Cut off time 2pm - receive funds by 5:30pm
- Cycle 2 : Cut off time 5pm – receive funds by 8:30pm
Same Day Settlement is available on all days, except Sundays
Fee: 0.20%% + GST will be applied on settlement value for each same day settlement cycle.

You can opt for Instant UPI settlement to receive funds instantly in your Kotak Current Account for all successful UPI transactions done by your customers on Kotak POS machines or QRs.
With instant settlement you can get :

How do I raise a service request for an issue with my QR on kotak.biz?
To raise a service request regarding your QR on kotak.biz, follow the below steps:
- Click on the More
- Select Service Requests.
- Tap on Report an Issue.
- Choose POS under Request Type.
- Verify your Terminal ID and proceed.
- Select your Problem Type, Sub Problem Type, and Preferred Call Back Time, then submit your request.
