Can I sign up for Solitaire Business if I already have a Kotak Current Account?

No, Solitaire Business is only available by invitation. Eligible existing customers will receive an invitation and can upgrade by submitting a consent and upgrade form.

I don’t have a Kotak account. How can I join?

You can apply for Solitaire Business through our website, and our team will get in touch with you with the details and eligibility criteria. Alternatively, you can also visit your nearest Kotak Mahindra Bank branch.

What are the eligibility criteria for Solitaire Business?

To qualify, you must have at least one current account and maintain a total relationship value of ₹1 Crore with Kotak Mahindra Bank.

Is there a minimum balance requirement for the Solitaire Business Current Account?

No, there is no Average Quarterly Balance (AQB) requirement. However, you must open the current account with an initial deposit of ₹25 lakh.

How is the relationship value calculated?

Your relationship value constitutes combined holdings with Kotak bank and includes the following:

  • Total balances across your Current and Savings accounts
  • Fixed deposits
  • Mutual fund holdings
  • Life insurance premiums paid
  • 30% of sanctioned loans (including Kotak Home Loans, Loans Against Property, Working Capital)
  • 30% of Demat holdings with Kotak Securities

Can I extend Solitaire Business benefits to my family members?

Yes, you can extend the benefits to select family members, including your spouse, parents, minor children, son/daughter, and daughter-in-law. You must authenticate the relationship. However, no relationship proof is required.

  • Non-individual accounts (such as businesses where a family member is an owner, partner, or director) can also be grouped.
  • Certain accounts, such as public charitable institutions, NGOs, government bodies, and clubs, cannot be grouped.
  • HUF accounts can be grouped if the Karta is part of the Solitaire group.
  • Minors can be included in the group but cannot be the primary account holder.
  • Maximum 15 accounts can be grouped

If I upgrade to Solitaire Business, will my grouped family members also be upgraded?

Yes, all grouped members will be upgraded and can enjoy the benefits of the Solitaire Business.

What happens if my relationship value drops below the required threshold?

The bank will review your eligibility periodically. If the relationship value requirement is unmet, the bank may withdraw the Solitaire Business benefits with prior notice. In such a case, standard fees, charges, and minimum balance requirements will apply based on your specific account type.

When will I receive my Solitaire Business debit card and chequebook?

The debit card (if applicable) will be issued within 5-7 working days after your Solitaire upgrade. The cheque book must be manually requested via mobile banking, net banking, or your Relationship Manager.
 
Note: Debit cards are not issued for Overdraft (OD) Current Accounts.
