Who is eligible for a Kotak Solitaire account?

Kotak Solitaire is by invitation only. To be eligible, you must meet certain relationship value criteria. The relationship value is calculated based on the combined holdings of all family accounts.

The eligibility criteria requires that the total relationship value must exceed ₹75 Lakh for salaried customers and ₹1 Crore for self-employed customers across all family accounts. The relationship value constitutes combined holdings with Kotak Mahindra bank and includes the total balances across  Current and Savings accounts, fixed deposits, mutual fund holdings, life insurance premiums paid, 30% of sanctioned loans (including Kotak Home Loans, Loans Against Property, Working Capital), 30% of Demat holdings with Kotak Securities linked to Kotak Mahindra Bank account.

To group your family accounts and determine your eligibility, please contact your relationship manager.

Who all can I group in my family so as to extend Kotak Solitaire benefits to them?

As the primary Kotak Solitaire account holder, you can group your spouse, parents, children and daughter-in-law. While the relationship needs to be authenticated by you, no formal proof of relationship is required. Minors can also be added, but they cannot be the primary account holder.

For non-individual accounts like businesses, multiple Customer Relationship Numbers (CRNs) can be grouped together if at least one individual in each group holds an ownership position, such as proprietor, partner or director.

However, public charitable institutions, NGOs, government bodies, and clubs cannot have additional members added to their CRNs.

If you have a Hindu Undivided Family (HUF) account, its CRN can be grouped with other accounts as long as the Karta (manager of the HUF) is also part of the group, either as an individual or in their capacity as the Karta.

If I upgrade to Kotak Solitaire, will the other members in my group also be upgraded?

Yes, when you upgrade to Kotak Solitaire, the entire group associated with your account will also be upgraded and receive the corresponding program benefits.

What happens if my relationship value falls below the required threshold?

Your relationship value is reviewed every six months on an ongoing basis (or for any other reason deemed appropriate by the bank). If your combined holdings fall below the required threshold for Kotak Solitaire, bank reserves the right to withdraw your Solitaire benefits. We will notify you before any changes are made. If your Kotak Solitaire benefits are withdrawn, you will no longer receive the associated discounts, services, and other features. Your account(s) will then be subject to the standard minimum balance requirements, fees, and charges applicable to your specific account type(s).

If my family is part of Kotak Solitaire, will all the members get the Solitaire credit card?

How can I use my credit card offers, such as flight and hotel booking etc.?

You can redeem your reward points and access offers through the Kotak Unbox portal.

When will I receive Solitaire debit card and chequebook?

Your Solitaire debit card will be issued (if applicable) in 5-7 working days from the date of upgrade.
