The Company has been redomiciled from Dubai International Financial Centre, United Arab Emirates. The Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) granted the Company a prudential “category 4” license on September 30, 2021 and its Financial Services Permission number is 200051
The Firms shareholders are Kotak Securities Limited (“KSL”, “majority shareholder”), an entity incorporated in India and Kotak Mahindra International Limited (“KMIL”, “minority shareholder”), an entity incorporated in Mauritius. The majority shareholder and the minority shareholder are together referred to as “the shareholders”. The ultimate shareholder of the Company is Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited (“ultimate shareholder”) / (“the Bank”), an entity incorporated in India and publicly listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange of India (NSE).
The Firm incorporated in Dubai Financial Services Authority on November 17, 2009 with license number 888. In the year 2021, the firm redomiciled to Abu Dhabi Global Markets and Abu Dhabi being its primary place of business activity.
The Firm’s primary markets are United Arab Emirates (‘’UAE”), Gulf Cooperation Council (‘’GCC”), India, and the wider MENA region. The firm caters to individuals who are experienced and have the requisite understanding of financial markets.
The firm offers wealth management services primarily to high net worth individuals (viz. Foreign nationals, Non-Resident Indians (“NRIs”), Persons of Indian Origin (“PIOs”), Resident Indians and Family offices.
