Kotak has now made activating your debit card simpler! You can easily activate or deactivate your debit card using Kotak’s Mobile Banking, Net Banking and SMS Banking platforms.
1. Once you log into the app, click on 'Service Request', followed by 'Debit Card Requests'
2. Select 'Activate/Deactivate Debit Cards
3. Switch your card status to Off, click 'Submit' and then 'Confirm'
You can switch On whenever you want to use your card.
You can also activate your card by SMS DCUNBLOCK <space> last four digits of your card to 5676788. To block it, SMS DCBLOCK <space> last four digits of your card to 5676788
For Net Banking, once you log in with your CRN and password, you can select 'Deactivate/Activate Card' under the Debit Card tab. You can then select the option you want and click on Submit.
