Update/Link/Seed Aadhaar

In order to avail subsidies from Government Authorities in your Kotak Mahindra Bank Account, you can link your Aadhaar to your bank account in following ways:


On Mobile Banking

  • Login to your Kotak – 811 & Mobile Banking App
  • Go to ‘Service Requests’
  • Go to 'Profile' section
  • Click on ‘Aadhaar Number Update’
  • Select/Edit/Enter your Aadhaar Number
  • Select any of the following option on the page

First time seeding
I already have any account with XXX Bank seeded with Aadhaar, interested in changing: Yes

  • Share Name of Bank & Account details
  • Choose an option and proceed
  • Submit Aadhaar OTP
  • Confirm

On Net Banking

  •  Login to your Kotak Mahindra Bank Net Banking portal or click here to initiate.
  • Select ‘Banking’
  • Click on ‘Profile/Update Contact Details’
  • Select ‘Update your Aadhaar’ option
  • Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number
  • Click on ‘Submit’


Through Website

  • Click here  to link your Aadhaar with your bank account
  • Complete your authentication by using your registered mobile number, date of birth or CRN and click on ‘Send OTP’
  • Enter the OTP that you have received on your registered mobile number
  • Enter your bank account number
  • Add your 12-digit Aadhaar number
  • Click on ‘Submit’ button


You can also visit your nearest Kotak Mahindra Bank branch to update your Aadhaar with your bank account.

Please Note:
1. Aadhaar Number can be seeded with Savings account only. Your request for linking your Aadhaar Number to your Bank Account will be processed, basis validation with NPCI/ requisite authorities.
2. This request will not be processed if details in your Bank Account do not match with your Aadhaar details available with UIDAI.
