As a bank, we are transparent in communicating the rates and charges applicable for our products and services. Apart from communicating about applicable charges as a part of account opening documentation , bank also sends regular SMS/email alerts prior to levy of non-maintenance charges on your registered mobile number/email id.
For Corporate Salary accounts, in case salary credits have stopped for two or more months the account is required to maintain AMB (Average monthly balance) as per the product variant or AMB of Rs 10,000 (whichever is lower) , failing which applicable charges will be levied. In order to safeguard interest of our customers, we proactively send SMS/email alerts to notify regarding non receipt of salary credit and non maintenance of average monthly balance prior to levy of charges. This gives an opportunity to customers to ensure account is suitably funded to maintain average monthly balance/enable Salary credit to avoid levy of charges
