About the GeM Sahay

GeM Sahay is an innovative initiative introduced by Government e-Marketplace (GeM) that offers a comprehensive financing solution. With this application, users can seamlessly access instant and frictionless financing which enables them to execute orders easily in a hassle-free manner.

Eligibility Criteria

  • You should be a Kotak Mahindra Bank’s MSME customer with a ‘sole proprietorship’ constitution who is currently active on the GeM portal
  • Need to be a GeM seller who is a sole proprietor and registered on GSTN portal
  • Should not raise invoices for Purchase Orders that you wish to get financed
  • Purchase Orders should be created at least 3 hours after opting for GeM Sahay in the profile section
  • Should have Purchase Orders with payment types such as PFMS, GeM Pool, and CRPF Online account

Fees and Charges

 Rate of annualized penal charges in case of delayed payments

24% p.a.


Stamp Duty on Loan Agreement / Overdraft Agreement, Guarantor Agreement, etc., vary from State/UT to State/UT. Stamping Charges, Notarisation Charges, Charge Creation etc., as per RBI/Statutory Notifications, as applicable

Charges for other Services which are not specified above would be specified as applicable when the Customer applies for those Services and the same shall be payable by the Borrower.

Taxes / other statutory levies may be charged to the Borrower if applicable as per Government / RBI directives.

Any charges are applicable subject to regulatory/statutory feasibility. Any relaxations available to specific borrower categories/groups, if any, shall be applicable to such beneficiaries.

Bank reserves the right to modify any charges from time to time or to introduce any new charges as it may deem appropriate and will publish them on the bank’s website (www.kotak.com)
