The Sovereign Gold Bonds or SGBs are issued in denominations of 1-gram gold and in multiples thereof. Minimum investment in SGBs is 1 gram with a maximum subscription limit of 4 kg for individuals, 4 kg for a Hindu Undivided Family (HUF), and 20 kg for trusts and similar entities per fiscal year April-March (as notified by the government periodically).(Each member of your family can buy the Sovereign Gold Bond up to 4kg in his/her own name if he/she meets the eligibility )
