Can I request for revocation of Kotak Mahindra Bank Payment Gateway service?

Yes. If you are a registered Net Banking customer you may register/ modify using the 'Service Requests' option within the 'Banking' tab post logging on to Net Banking.

Or, you can request for Payment Gateway revocation by giving a written request to the Bank. Simply drop your request either in the Document Drop Boxes at our Branches or ATM lobbies. Alternatively you may mail it to us at Customer Contact Centre, Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd., Post Box Number 16344, Mumbai 400013.

You may also advise us via our secure mail facility by logging in to Kotak Mahindra Bank Net Banking and clicking on the Inbox link on the top right hand corner of the screen.

You can request for revocation at three levels:

  • Request for removing access to Kotak Mahindra Bank Payment Gateway service totally
  • Request for removing access to either Kotak Online Trading1 or Kotak - Online Shopping service retaining access to the other service
  • Request for moving access for specific accounts to Kotak Mahindra Bank Payment Gateway and all its services or only from a specific service - Kotak Online Trading1 or Kotak - Online Shopping.

Please ensure your Request clearly states your Customer Relationship Number and which option you are requesting for. In case of account level access removal please ensure you have clearly stated your required account no(s). Your Request will be processed within 3 working days of receipt of your request.

What happens if I enter the wrong Password?

Your Net Banking Access will be locked for 24 hours after 3 consecutive wrong attempts.

If you want to unlock your password immediately, click ‘Ok’ on the pop-up that comes while logging in, and then follow the steps.

I forgot my Netbanking Password. Can I still make the payment?

You can use your Mobile Banking PIN (MPIN).to login.

OAlternatively, you can also login with your ATM-DebitCard- PIN

If you want to reset your password, you can do so by clicking on ‘Forgot Password’ and following the requisite steps

Are there any limits for my payments done using Kotak Mahindra Bank Payment Gateway service?

You can transact upto Rs.10,00,000 using payment gateway netbanking. However, different limits may apply to certain category of transactions.

My transaction failed, but my account got debited. How do I get my money back?

If the merchant has not been credited, your money will be reversed to your account automatically. If you need further help, please contact our 24x7 call center
