With Kotak Mahindra Net Banking, you have the advantage of viewing activities in your banking, Demat and investment accounts, transfer funds between your / third party accounts with Kotak Mahindra Bank, or with any other Bank which participates in RBI NEFT/ RTGS scheme, request a cheque book and physical statement, purchase & redeem investments online1, pay your utility bills, register for payment gateway and access many more services.

What are the banking activities I can do online?

Following are the online banking activities:

  1. View your account balance, account activity, account details, un-cleared fund details, cheque status and current exchange rates.
  2. Transfer funds between your accounts or third party accounts maintained with Kotak Mahindra Bank, or with any other Bank which participates in RBI NEFT / RTGS / IMPS scheme, open a Term / Recurring deposit, check the Term / Recurring Deposit rates over various tenures & amounts, set up standing instruction online to transfer funds between your own accounts, third party accounts or through Banker's Cheques.
  3. e-File income tax
  4. Request for a cheque book and give stop cheques request.
  5. Download account statement for the financial or calendar year, for a month or a specific period.
  6. Enquire about the TDS information on your deposits for the current & previous financial year.
  7. Register and view your Kotak Life Insurance policy.
  8. Register and apply for National Pension System (NPS)
  9. Pay all your utility and credit card bills and recharge prepaid mobile / DTH through Kotak BillPay
  10. Communicate with the bank in a secure medium through the 'Inbox' option which will allow greater flexibility for communicating with us, including the ability to put an online request for our Home Banking Services

How do I log into Net Banking?

Please follow the below steps:


  • In the Net Banking login page, enter User ID (CRN - Customer Relationship Number) and Net Banking Password you have received. CRN is mentioned on your Debit or Credit card (below your name) and also on the first page of cheque book as 'Reference Number'.
  • Once you enter the Password and click on 'Secure Login', you will have to enter One Time Password in the next page. One Time Password
    is auto generated and is sent on your preferred mobile number and email ID.
  • In addition to the One Time Password, you can also use Digital Signature Certificate, once you registered the same on Net Banking.
  • On successful authentication, you will have access to your Net Banking homepage and you can start your banking.

What is InterBank Fund Transfer?

InterBank Fund Transfer is a facility that allows you to transfer money from your account with Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. to an account in any other Bank, subject to the beneficiary's bank participating in the RBI National Electronic Funds Transfer (RBI - NEFT) scheme. This facility is available currently to resident Indian customers only.


You need to login using your Net Banking login ID and password, and select InterBank Fund transfer option under Payments on the left hand side menu.

You will then need to select the source account and enter the amount to be transferred and the details of the beneficiary account like beneficiary name, beneficiary account number, account type, bank name and the destination branch.

  • Your account will be debited online, subject to sufficient available balance and a transaction/daily limit of Rs. 1 lakh. Requests received before 9:00 a.m. IST and 6:15 p.m. IST on all Mumbai working days (Monday to Friday) and 1:00 p.m. IST on working Saturdays in Mumbai will be sent by us to RBI in the respective clearing cycles.
  • The time taken to credit the Beneficiary's account will be dependent on the time taken by the Beneficiary's Bank to process the payment.
