Is the SIM of my bank registered mobile number mandatory for activating a new device?

If you have the sim of your bank registered mobile number, you can activate the mobile banking app yourself. You can even activate a second device as long as you have the first device handy. If your first device it is not available, we have also allowed an exception process where you can activate the app by visiting your nearest branch or calling our customer contact centre
