Activation of my Kotak Mobile App is getting failed due to balance deduction pop-up coming after sending secure SMS. How can I activate?

“Please configure below settings on your Mobile phone based of your operator:

BSNL Mobile: Goto SIM toolkit -> “BSNL Mobile” -> BSNL Buzz –> Deactivate -> Ok

Vodafone: Goto SIM Toolkit -> FLASH! -> Activation -> Deactivate -> Ok


Goto SIM Toolkit ->Airtel live -> airtel now! -> Start/Stop -> Stop -> Ok


Send Message “STOP ANOW” to 58234


Goto SIM Toolkit (Idea power app) -> idea flash -> Activation -> Deactivate -> Ok


Dial *121*46# from phone dialer


Open Jio Chat App & go to 3-dot Menu>More > Settings > Chat Settings

Switch the ‘Receive Message Notifications’ to off

Please try again after 15 minutes of performing the above activity.

If you are still facing the issue in activating the Kotak App, please Switch network to 3G/2G from 4G before activating Kotak Mobile App & try again.

In case your mobile banking is not activated despite doing all above activities, we request you to select the option ‘No, I don’t have my registered SIM in this phone’ & tap on ‘Activate through branch or phone banking’ to create an activation request. Once the request is initiated, please walk in to the nearest Kotak Mahindra Bank branch or call our contact centre.”
