Would any change in my Fixed Deposit portfolio affect my TDS (Tax Deposited at Source) liability?

Yes. If any change or enhancement in your Deposit portfolio earns a cumulative interest along with that of the earlier portfolio greater than Rs. 40,000 (for all other than senior citizen) OR Rs. 50000 (for senior citizen), you will be liable for TDS on your current portfolio.
