What are the options through which I can generate my Net Banking password online?
You can generate Net Banking password online by following the below mentioned steps:
Click on Need Help option on login screen and then click on “I want to generate my password”
On the next screen you will be prompted to enter the CRN/username or Card number
On the enter password screen, “Forgot Password” option is also available
You need to enter the registered mobile number
If you enter a wrong mobile number 3 times, online password regeneration would be locked for 12 hours
Only if your mobile number is registered with the bank will you be able to procee
If details match, OTP will be sent on both the registered Mobile Number and email ID. You can also request for Voice OTP
After entering correct OTP, you will be prompted to enter Debit/Credit/Forex Card details or answer Security questions whichever option is available for you
If you opt for Card authentication, below details need to be entered:
Debit / CREDIT / FOREX Card – Only numeric value should be accepted
Expiry date will be in MM/YY format
CVV- 3 digit numeric
Card Pin – 4 to 6 digit will be masked
If you select the Security Question option for authentication, you would have to answer 2 of the 4 Security Questions to validate yourself. You will be given an option to change the question.
Once the validation is successful, you will be taken to the Set new password screen where you will have to enter and re-enter the new password
Email / SMS alert will be sent to your registered email ID and mobile number on successful password change
