Kotak Mahindra Bank is always looking for innovative ways to add value to the services we can offer to our customers. Keeping this in mind, we have introduced the revolutionary Micro ATM (card + pin) that will cut across geographies.
Micro ATM services is a dedicated offering by Kotak Bank Appointed Business Correspondents (BC) to deliver basic banking services. The platform will enable BC (who could be a local “kirana” shop owner and will act as ‘Micro ATM’) to conduct instant transactions.
The Micro ATM machine is operated by an agent that will include a card reader for all cash withdrawals and balance enquiry transactions from all bank Debit Cards.

Benefits to customers:
Micro ATM is a mini version of an ATM. Micro ATMs are like modified point of sales terminals this terminal can connect to banking network via GPRS to perform banking transactions. This machine contains card swipe facility. This initiative aims to bridge the gap between the need and availability of cash requirement in the eco-system.
The Micro ATM Machine is operated by an agent that will include a card reader for all cash withdrawal and balance enquiry transactions from all bank domestic debit cards.
Currently, basic functionality will be provided to the customers is Cash withdrawal & Balance enquiry
All domestic ATM / ATM cum debit cards can be used for the transacting at Micro ATMs
