What is Kotak MyImage Debit Card?

Kotak MyImage Debit card is a customized debit card where you can choose the design to be printed on your card from the images that are available in our gallery.

Who is eligible for Kotak MyImage Debit Card?

Customers holding the following debit cards would be eligible for Kotak MyImage Debit Card:

 

  • Classic
  • Silk
  • Platinum
  • World
  • Privy League Platinum
  • Privy League Signature

Erstwhile Maestro Debit Card holders will be eligible for Kotak MyImage Debit Card since their replacement Debit Card will be Classic, Platinum and World MasterCard Debit Card variant.

Wealth and Current Account customers, holding the above variants, are not eligible for Kotak MyImage Debit Card.

Where can I apply for Kotak MyImage Debit Card?

You can apply for Kotak MyImage Debit Card, either at www.kotak.com or through Net Banking or at any Kotak Bank Branch Please follow the steps below to know how:

 
  • Kotak Website:
    To view the image gallery and to apply for Kotak MyImage Debit Card, please click here
  • Net Banking:
    Visit www.kotak.com > Log in to Net Banking > Click on Debit Card tab > Select Select "Apply for MyImage Debit Card"
  • Branch Access Form:
    You can visit the your nearest Kotak branch and fill the channel access form (CAF) along with the Image Code you wish to apply for. Please ask the branch representative to assist you with the Image Code.
  • Customer Contact Centre:
    Call our 24-hour Customer Contact Centre at 1860 266 2666 (call charges applicable) and share the Image code.

What are the fees and charges applicable on Kotak MyImage Debit Card?

When you place a request for Kotak MyImage Debit Card, you will be charged for the new card as per the applicable General Schedule of Features and Charges (GSFC).

You will also be charged Rs. 199 additionally for the selected image. Taxes as applicable.

If I apply for a Kotak MyImage Debit Card the second time, will I be charged again?

Yes. There will be a fee of Rs. 199/- (plus service tax) along with the card charges as per the applicable General Schedule of Features and Charges (GSFC).

Can a New-to-Bank customer apply for a MyImage Debit Card?

Yes, you can apply through Account opening Form. 

Currently  MyImage card feature is not available for  Wealth and current account customers .

Can I upload my picture and apply for a Kotak MyImage Debit Card through Net Banking?

No. You can only choose the design to be printed on your debit card from the available images in our gallery.

In case I lose or damage my Kotak MyImage Debit Card, can I get the new Debit Card with the same image? What will be the fees and charges?

In case the card is lost:

 

  • Yes, you can get a replacement of your Kotak MyImage Debit Card with the same image as your last MyImage Debit Card. If you have lost your Kotak MyImage Debit Card, you may report a loss and place a reissuance request through Kotak Mobile Banking app or by calling Customer Contact Center at 1860 266 2666 and you will be re-issued the same
  • You will be charged a reissuance fee as well as an image fee of Rs. 199/-. Taxes will be as applicable.

In case the card is damaged:

You shall have to submit your damaged Kotak MyImage Debit card to your nearest Kotak Bank Branch and fill up the Channel Access Form. There will be no charges in case of a damaged card.

Can I do international transactions with my Kotak MyImage Debit Card?

Yes. You can carry out international transactions on your Kotak MyImage Debit Card. You can instantly activate your Kotak MyImageDebit Card for International usage by:

  • SMS DCENB(space) Last 4 digits of your Debit card and send it to 9971056767 or 5676788 from your registered mobile number
  • Visit www.kotak.com and log in to Net banking
    • Steps: Click on Debit Card -> Deactivate / Activate International Usage
  • Log in to Kotak Mobile Banking App
    • Steps: Click on Service Request -> Debit Card Requests -> Select Activate / Deactivate Debit Card ->Select International Usage

How do I activate the Kotak MyImage Debit Card?

Following are the ways of activating:

  • All your Kotak Debit Cards are by default active when dispatched to you. You can directly start using your card at merchant outlets (with PIN) or online stores (with 6-digit One Time Password).
  • However you can use the following keywords to activate / deactivate:
