What is the procedure for bill payment?

 You can make your payments in 2 ways using any of the above listed channels-

  1. Add Billers and Make Payment – Through this method, you will first have to register your biller and then, the biller will be available for payment. You will also get a notification on generation of the bill, for which you can set ‘Auto Pay’, which will lead to automatic payment of your bill and your account will get debited automatically on the due date. 
  2. Make Payment without Registration– Customers can make payments without registration under the “Make Payment using Bharat Bill Bay Section”. This service is available only in Net Banking, after login and is limited to certain billers only as all billers do not support payments without registration.

How do I add a new biller for payment?

Simply login to your Kotak Net banking or Kotak Mobile App, click on Bill Pay/Recharge & click on Add Biller option .Enter your Biller Details & submit. Your registration will be done successfully.

How do I pay my bills using Kotak Mobile application?

Download the Mobile Banking application by sending a SMS to K MOBILE to 9971056767/ 5676788 from your preferred Mobile Number registered with us or call up our 24 Hrs Customer Contact Centre.

 

Post download, to activate the application on your handset, please call our 24x7 Customer Contact Centre at 1860 266 2666.

To pay using mobile banking; you first need to add/ register a biller on Kotak BillPay, log on to Net Banking. Alternatively, you can call up our 24 Hrs Customer Contact Centre or visit the nearest branch.

This facility is not available on this platform for payments using Kotak credit card.

What is the eligibility for using Kotak BillPay on Net Banking?

For BillPay using bank account: This facility is available to you if you are registered for Net Banking with transaction rights on "Net Banking" and have at-least one Savings Account or Current Account with independent operating rights.

 

For BillPay using Credit Card: This facility is available to you if you are registered for Dynamic Access Code enabled Net Banking with transaction rights and have at-least 1 Kotak Credit Card. If you do not have a net banking password, follow the below steps:

  •       Visit www.kotak.com
  •      Click on Secure Login button below Net Banking
  •      A new Window will open, click on Get Net Banking Password online instantly & securely
  •      Follow the steps as prompted by the system & you will receive your Net Banking Password.
