Kotak Mahindra Bank named Best Local Cash Management Bank in India

Kotak Mahindra Bank, one of India's leading banks, has been adjudged Best Local Cash Management Bank in India in the Asiamoney Cash Management Poll Awards for 2011.

 

This is the third consecutive year that Kotak has been awarded the best local cash management bank in India title by Asiamoney.

 

Kotak Mahindra Bank was voted the Best Local Cash Management in India by corporates with an annual sales turnover of <US$ 100m (Small), US$ 101m – 500m (Medium) and > US$ 500mn (Large). These awards are based on scores formed from a corporate survey conducted by Asiamoney.

 

• Kotak was present on a number of the top equity issuances in the period under review and it worked on equity deals across industry sectors spanning consumer products, real estate and finance, to name a few. Kotak also worked both with repeat issuers that are well known to investors as well as first-time issuers.
• It raised acquisition finance for its clients and was one of the players instrumental in the revival of the non-convertible debenture market in India.
• Perhaps the best testament to Kotak's investment banking franchise lies in the fact that its international competitors always name it as their most effective domestic competitor.

• In the 'Dealogic' rankings, Kotak topped the book running charts for Indian firms with US$1.46 billion worth of deal volume via 18 deals, representing a 6.6% market share.
• Kotak has consistently been the broader house, being substantial in the secondary markets and having a strong reputation in equities research.
