What is Twin Advantage
Trade with the twin advantage feature in your Kotak Securities Trading account for additional exposure on your margin money. This feature gives you added exposure of 75% margin against the value of the stocks in your Demat Account plus 4 times exposure on your margin (cash balance in your trading account) allowing you to trade larger volumes.
How Twin Advantage Works
Consider that Mr. X has a Kotak Securities trading account with a cash margin of Rs. 50000/- and Stock worth Rs. 100000/-. The following illustration will show us how the Twin Advantage will help him gain more exposure.
Normal Trading Account (Without Twin Advantage)
(Only Cash exposed at 4 times)
Normal Trading Account (With Twin Advantage)
(75% of Stock is added before calculating exposure against stock worth 1 Lakh)
