What is Kotak 30 Scheme?

Kotak 30 is an open-ended equity growth scheme that invests predominantly in large cap stocks that are diversified across sectors and form a significant proportion of total market capitalization. The investment objective of the scheme is to generate capital appreciation from a portfolio of predominantly equity and equity related securities. The scheme generally invests in 30 companies but has flexibility to go up to 39 companies. These companies may or may not be the same that constitute the BSE Sensitive Index or the NSE Fifty (S&P CNX Nifty) index. The scheme does offer some flavour of mid-caps (maximum exposure up to 20%) to potentially enhance returns.
