I am now writing this note to place on record my sincere appreciation & gratitude to Kotak Mahindra Bank and its team of dedicated staff who went that extra mile in a moment of dire need. I had to undergo a bypass surgery and was in need of some B-ve blood for myself and we were finding it difficult to find donors. As soon as Mr. Balaji Sadasivam, Area Manager, Privy League & Mr. S. Janakiraman, Senior Privy Relationship Manager of your bank came to know of my need, within a matter of hours they were able to locate one Mr. Mohanavelu, your staff from Porur branch with the same blood group. Without any hesitation, he came over to the blood bank at the MIOT Hospital and gave the required blood for my surgery.
I am sure this is certainly not part of priority banking or Privy League banking which I am part of. I wonder if I can call it Blood Banking. I thought I would be insensitive if I do not place on record the warm and outstanding service that I have been receiving from your team of dedicated staff in Chennai.

Having followed your growth from 1987, I have no hesitation to say that you still have a long way to go. I take this opportunity to wish you & the entire KOTAK family all the very best for an even brighter future.

On coming to India this year in month of March I happened to meet Mr S. Mohanty just by chance. I explained my problem to him. He was so sympathetic and helpful that half of the problem finished there and then. He pursued the matter and was updating my information step by step till he resolved the matter successfully.
